Yoghurt Waffles with Maple Syrup Yoghurt sauce

Ingredients

2 large eggs

400ml whole milk or milk substitute

85g FAGE Total 0%, 2%, 5%

1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

285g all-purpose flour

1 ½ tablespoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

 

Maple Yogurt Sauce Ingredients:

170g FAGE Total 0%, 2%, or 5%

60g maple syrup

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Serve with:

Bacon, sausages, fruit, and chocolate chips

    Steps
  1. Preheat the waffle iron.
  2. In a medium-size bowl, whisk eggs, milk, yogurt, agave, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, toss together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and whisk together until smooth.
  5. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  6. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Set aside.
  7. Serve waffles with maple yogurt sauce, maple syrup, extra yogurt, mini chocolate chips, fruit, bacon, and sausages.
