Crème Brûlée Style Dessert

Ingredients

500 grams FAGE Total 0% [0,2%], 2%, 5%, [or BeFree]
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave 
4 tablespoons granulated sugar

    Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly among 4 baking dishes (175 ml capacity each), smoothing the tops.
  3. Place the baking dishes in the freezer for about 15 minutes to chill, or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the baking dishes from the freezer and top each with a heaping tablespoon (12.5 grams) of sugar.
  5. Heat the sugar with a culinary torch or place in the oven under a broiler for 1-3 minutes, until the sugar caramelizes into a golden crust.
  6. Let cool for 2-3 minutes. Serve with fresh berries of your choice.
